A Roaring Lion
A roaring lion looking to destroy,
Plays with our lives as if a mere toy.
He picks us up and thrashes us around,
Often knocking us down to the hard ground
DetailsThe following pages are samples of my writing projects. I have a few articles and business reports, as well as some poetry. Please feel free to share, but please link back to these pages and provide proper credit.

DetailsDo you call yourself Christian because you pray?
Do you call yourself Christian, going to church every day?
Do you call yourself Christian because you try to do good?
Do you call yourself Christian because someone told you, you should?
Our insiders were dead,
Our outsides were red,
Covered by the blood of Jesus.
DetailsBorn a sinner in this evil place
My soul was trapped in sin.
But my God wrapped me up in lace,
And healed me from within.
DetailsI can accomplish all things through Christ,
Who gives me strengths through his sacrifice.
His death for me leaves me with great gain,
One day I’ll live without any pain.
DetailsForgive me Lord for my multitude of sins,
And heal me of the pride that lies deep within.
Forgive me when I do not want to let go,
And please forgive me for how little I know.
DetailsI will not lie, and will not cheat.
I will not sit idle in my seat.
I will not put your name to shame.
I will learn to accept my rightful blame.
God is the architect of the world in which we live.
He is also the banker, showing us how to give.
He is the master carpenter that builds us up right
And he is the doctor who will bandage us up tight.
DetailsLove brings a mix of emotions to all who hear;
From tears of great joy, desire, and even fear.
Those who fear, suffer great emotional pains,
From the loss of love or no relational gains.
DetailsWhen you plead with the man upstairs,
He will hear your call.
His timing may not be what you had in mind,
But he will not let you fall.
Father God, provide your great mercy on me,
For I failed to be who you called me to be.
I lost hope in your plan, and tried my own way.
My way brought me here, where I don’t want to stay.
