I am not ashamed of the Gospel as it said:
Jesus was beaten, nailed up, and soon was found dead.
But not before forgiving those who hung him there.
“They know not what they do,” was in his short prayer.
Crucifying the true savior, that was God’s plan.
The perfect being was lost, to save the mere man.
But in three days he soon rose, alive once again,
To cover all of our sins from where they begin.
Descending first to hell, where they weep and they groan
He then went up to heaven to rule from His throne.
He left us his spirit to attend to our needs
When we believe in his words, the spirit succeeds.
The Gospel is free if you believe in His name,
It guarantees a new life, so make that your aim.
Thank you, Lord and the Father for all He has done
Salvation could not succeed, if not for his Son.
