A day will come that you never knew
was going to be a part of God’s plan for you.
And when that day comes, you’ll have a choice;
Do I follow the plan or express my voice?
You can argue with God what you think is right,
or you can trust in God with all your might.
God’s plans and ours rarely coincide,
unless we follow closely by his side.
But one thing for sure is, His plan is best.
His plan will never fail unlike the rest.
So why do we continue to follow the ways of our own,
as we live like rebellious children— far overgrown?
God calls us to maturity with a trust in Him.
But so often, we choose to live life on a whim.
We fight and beg to go our own way
without trusting what God has to say.
He has His plan that never fails,
That’s why His son took those nails.
And through His power, we gain our own,
the power to bow to our knees at His throne.
Without God’s guidance, we’ll never succeed.
Because only God knows what we really need.
So trust as God shows you His perfect path,
that leads to His grace while avoiding His wrath.
