What if God’s word wasn’t true?
What if Jesus didn’t die for me and you?
What if we were left alone on this earth?
What if we were never given a second birth?
What if God abandoned us when we failed?
What if instead of loving us, he yelled?
What is he punished us for every sin?
What kind of world would we be in?
We’d be in a world where love was not there.
We’d be in a world without the slightest care.
We’d never have hope of a better life
We’d always be living in a state of strife.
We would have no purpose in this land,
We would have no morals in which to stand.
We would feel defeated every single day
Which is why I’m glad my god is here to stay.
