Who God Is

God is the architect of the world in which we live.

He is also the banker, showing us how to give.

He is the master carpenter who builds us up right

And he is the doctor who will bandage us up tight.

He is the electrician who gives us our energy,

And the master fisherman that catches you and me.

He is the gardener who will plant us in good soil.

And he is the great healer when our blood starts to boil.

God is the interpreter who hears our many songs.

And he is the judge who will forgive our many wrongs.

Our God is the King of glory and the Lord of host.

He’s also a loving Father; that he is the most.

He’s a mathematician who’ll multiply things real quick

He is the nurse that will help us when we become sick.

He is the optometrist that will give us new sight

He is the protecting force that helps us in our fight.

God is the quiet voice that must struggle to be heard.

He is the ruling choice for those who have been martyred.

He is the screenplay writing who writes us in his play.

And a solid teacher who teaches us the right way.

He is an umpire who will call us when we’re out.

He is our ventriloquist who speaks what we’re about.

God is a mighty warrior who’ll fight for what you do.

And an x-ray technician who will see right through you.

He’s the yo-yo master who pulls us up when we’re down,

And he’s the zoologist – I have no other noun.

This is the very beginning of who our God is.

So have great peace and Joy, that you are divinely His.
