This is a building I designed in 11th grade drafting class. It was my first attempt at a hotel design.
This project was designed for one of my introduction engineering classes at Penn State during my freshman year. The idea was to create a way to hold it that was easy to assemble, sturdy enough to be placed on a wide variety of surfaces without being blown over, and also small enough to fit in the trunk of a car. It also had to be capable of being assembled by one person.
My goal for this project was to create more of an outlet mall type of feel. I have space for 3 big box retailers, several outlying buildings, and a second floor office area on the main building.
Rapid Prototyping projects using 3d printers, laser scanners/ printers, and CNC Machines with a variety of software.
